My primary focus prior to TB3 will be to add some additional backend hooks that can allow extensions like TaQuilla to integrate into the existing filtering system of TB. I need to make filtering functions available post-bayes (which is bug 198100) plus I need some way to allow extensions to add new search fields. At this point, I'm not really sure where I want to go with TaQuilla itself. But those hooks will allow me to extend TaQuilla to provide additional functions associated with bayesian analysis of messages.

Awesome work- I love the track your on.

Any chance that TaQuilla could integrate the features of MailClassifier:
http://mailclassifier.mozdev.org/index.html

I don't see the latest (1.5b2) code up on mozdev, but perhaps Emanuele Sabellico or Daniele Repici (the project developers) can be of assistance.

I'm very much looking forward to 3b3 and beyond, but MailClassifier is a huge help in quickly sorting email (and lacks shredder compatibility), and switching to a tag-only approach is unlikely for my mail volume in the near future.

"The concept works with TIVO - why not with mail?"

My wife's example is Pandora, where your choices for music are optimized by training.
