EWS thru authenticated proxy

Hi there.
My company proxy only supports http and https forwarding, so normal Thunderbird accounts do not go. But ExQulla uses https for EWS URL.
┬┐Is it possible to redirect them to proxy based on thunderbird config and ask for proxy password when required? It doesn't do it by now.

There are a number of authentication variations that we would like to support, but the problem always is testing. Theoretically, Thunderbird already has the same underlying ability to connect through HTTP proxies as Firefox, and there is a configuration page available for that. (Tools/Options/Advanced/Network & Disk Space/Connection.) But I have no idea if that works or not, either for ExQuilla or for Thunderbird itself.

The problem always is testing. Ideally someone would provide a test account that we could develop against, but that is rarely an option.

Have you tried configuring the http proxy settings?
