The setting of the From and To fields is part of the search section, not the action section (which is current primary target of FiltaQuilla). I've considered trying to do the backend work to the search section that would allow the same types of customizations that I can currently do in the action section. My first guess is that, for local folders, it is pretty easy, but for IMAP or news it is probably virtually impossible. I'll be touching the backend IMAP search section in bug 310359, so I'll have a better idea what the issues are then.

So you are really asking for a standard TB feature here, and not something I can do easily in FiltaQuilla. Do you know if a backend bug has been filed for this request?
