It has been over 6 years, and Thunderbird still have not filled this request.
A Forward Inline action.
Automatic forwarding only forward email as attachements. Therefore forwarding to cell phones and balckberry are impossible! This would be such a GODSEND!!!
A Forward As action.
The current forwarding is a redirect/bounce, in which the sender's address is passthrough. Some people can not relay mail into private networks because the sender is not on the approved list.
I would paid or donate whatever to get these functions. God damn people at Mozilla just won't listen…code wise, these features are trivial, the function calls are already available in the its existing core routines and library.

Window Mail does a Forwarding As via filtering as the default SMTP email and not a pass through redirect. Yea!
Gmail filters only does pass throughs….BOO! They dont listen either.
